Hand wash in cool water and air dry. Iron with steam, or not. It looks just as nice not ironed. This just gets softer and better the more you use it. The fabric feels like air but is crazy durable.

It all began when one of my dear friends got married. Tucked beautifully into her arrangements were these pods. It was one of those weddings where the joy and love were overwhelming. It's a symbol for so many good things in so many cultures that it's no surprise that it showed up there.

The lotus has significant meaning in many faith traditions. In Buddhism it is a symbol for purity, faithfulness and spiritual awakening. The list is even longer in Hinduism; beauty, fertility, prosperity, spirituality and eternity to name a few. Ancient Egyptians often depicted the lotus in hieroglyphics. It is associated with rebirth and also death.
